Covid care kits distribution

The COVID Care Kits prepared by C4C were distributed around the City of Chandler for maximum impact to underserved communities. The distribution sites were at Folley Park, Harris Park, and three areas where homeless people congregate.

service learning project

C4C partnered with several Chandler Unified School District schools to make patriotic pillowcases to gift to youth and veterans. Students and adult volunteers folded, sewed, ironed, and wrapped over 50 pillowcases. Many students had never used a sewing machine before so this service learning event gave them new skills. They put those skills to good use! Thank you to Pastor Hardy at the Congregational Church of the Valley for the use of the space for this community event.

Covid care kits preparation

C4C wants to make a positive impact on issues that directly impact the health and safety of our citizens. We put together COVID Care Kits to assist local people with information about testing sites and ways to minimize spread. The Kits also contain masks and hand-sanitizer. These Kits will be distributed at targeted sites throughout the city of Chandler.

Donated hand sanitizer and masks were added to the COVID Care Kits.
