Juneteenth 2023
Need to apply for $5000 grant for Juneteenth – Erica Maxwell
Need to apply by late March or early April
DEI, South Chandler Self-Help, C4C, and Chandler Men of Action
Thursday – Kickoff – CGCC is a possible location – get as many organizes involved as possible
Friday – South Chandler Self-Help - $1500 - Pageant
Saturday – Councilman O. D. Harris in the Culture in the Park - $2000
Sunday – Chandler Men of Action - $500
Monday – Virtual Dinner
C4C will help to build the collaboration for the Kickoff and then support the other activities
Chandler High Schools “First 8” dedication and assembly planning
Dedication at Tumbleweed Park occurred in February
Will get a copy of the plaque from Tumbleweed Park for District Office and want something for Chandler High School
Have an Assembly of 30-40 minutes – 3rd week in April or the 1st week of May 9:15-9:45 Wednesday or Thursday
The first 45 teachers can be in the Assembly for live performance
Need help to put together a program
BSU may do step dance
There was a “Wolf Bite” (3-minute clip) on the interviews
Working with the Museum – Christy Clark and Jody – gave ideas of what they want to see

Car Show Plan
Chandler High School has a Car Show every year. Want to be more student driven and more community focused. Will get rolling with this in January.
The Show will be April 22 8-noon in the sophomore parking lot behind the Theater.

Brian Fox is hosting a conference
Can have vending booth and if so, we will give us some funding
